About

Hi.
I’m Heathir.
Some words for me would be: Wiseass. Mom. Partner. Former Goth chick, sometime heretic. Aspiring sociolinguist. Amateur scatologist (it’s not what you think, really). Lover of literature, both good and bad.
Someone once described me as ‘free-wheeling yet ethical.’
In my free time, I like to write, to read, and to draw; and generally, I think too much for my own good.
I’m also a Norse non-reconstructive hard polytheist, with Celtic roots.
I’ve been Pagan for a little over 28 years now. I began with the Morrighan, but that inexplicably turned into a steady working thing with Loki and Freyja a little over ten years ago.
As well, most recently, situations have conspired to bring me into some rather intense work with Odin. (Though, in the realm of sometimes, I work with Freyr, Hela, and even Dionysus too.)
But, the more definite short description of me these days is that I am, first and foremost, a Lokean.
The title of this blog arose from the fact that my life has always been made of threes, you see.
Blood, teeth, and flame are three gifts that I have given.
