3 Thoughts for Empaths Who Are Feeling Drained
by beanalreasa
“…When you’re feeling overwhelmed, like you have given all your energy out to others and need to recharge yourself, always remember:
1.) You deserve happiness; take time for yourself
2.) Your feelings are no less important than anyone else’s
3.) We are all connected – when you hurt yourself you are hurting others”

Thinking of some possessory experiences I’ve had with ghosts at haunted places. This goes for the living as well as the dead.
I really needed to read this. My grandma had a stroke last month and I just transferred to a library location closer to home, with more hours. I feel like I’ve been focusing on others because of the stroke and trying to make things easier on mom, who has been with my grandma, and it’s left me feeling drained. Sometimes I have to remind myself that I can make time for myself as well, and that I actually have to, being an introvert and all.
As an empath and an introvert myself, I often need this reminder to be aware of my own needs – because in the end, I am the one most responsible for myself.
So, that being said, I am so glad that this post resonated with you and was helpful to you.
Thank you for your comment.
Take care,
